Hugues Foltz founded a company called Ellicom in 2002, where he remained at the helm for 14 years. From 2002 to 2016, he surrounded himself with several key stakeholders from the fields of both training and technology with the aim of becoming the Canadian leader in online training. He spent close to two years as Vice-President of Professional Services as well as Vice-President of Innovation with the Optel Group—world leader in traceability and serialisation solutions. The Optel Group has received many accolades including seeing its President awarded the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2017. As part of Optel’s ranks, Hugues Foltz was able to assemble a team of experts specialized in AI and Industry 4.0 to create and provide new services to the group’s clientele.
As a member of several boards and having helped launch several business projects, Hugues has also acquired extensive experience in management over the years. Recognized as a figurehead in the field of information technology (including AI and Industry 4.0), he is a frequent speaker at the industry’s key events, always eager to share his opinion, knowledge and innovations with attendees.
