Francoise Crevier

After completing her undergraduate studies in science, Françoise Crevier taught high school chemistry and physics. It was here that her passion for instructional design was born: she wrote several self-study books on chemistry that were bestsellers on the Quebec education market for some fifteen years.
With the advent of microcomputing, Françoise turned her attention to the design of digital learning environments. She has designed over a hundred training environments for companies. In order to acquire a solid theoretical grounding, she continued her studies in educational technology, obtaining her doctorate in 1996.
Today, in addition to creating customized pedagogical solutions, Françoise is particularly interested in analyzing problem situations: preliminary analysis, content analysis and knowledge or skills modeling. For the past fifteen years, she has been passionate about the emerging field of competencies (individual, collective and organizational).
She also works as a consultant for various organizations, both in Quebec and abroad. Among the many learning environments Françoise has designed, some fifteen have received Canadian or international awards.
