Sophie F. Marcil has worked for over twenty years as a human resources management (HRM) professional in a variety of roles. She set up the training and organizational development department of a higher education institution, and was responsible for implementing sound HR practices for all the organization's professionals, such as the performance appraisal and competency development process using a competency framework.
She also worked for over ten years in the aeronautics industry, and a few years in the telecommunications and health services industries.
In addition to her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management, she holds a Master's degree in the Human Systems Intervention program. She has also completed a certificate in Industrial Relations.
Ms. Marcil is passionate about developing individuals in the workplace. She designs workshops on leadership skills, HRM best practices and customer service.
She also coaches individual managers in the development of their leadership skills, using powerful psychometric tools. Finally, Ms. Marcil also coaches organizations wishing to review or implement HRM practices.
