Segment 1: Defining emotional intelligence
By the end of this segment, the participant will understand in simple terms what emotional intelligence is, and how it contributes to professional and personal success.
- Reflecting on the qualities associated with emotional intelligence
- Overview of the different models and definitions according to researchers such as Richard Boyatzis, Peter Salovey, John Mayer, Daniel Goleman, Reuven Bar-On, Annie McKee, Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves.
- The importance of psychological safety in creating high-performance teams
- The power of kindness.
Segment 2: Introduction to the 5 components of emotional intelligence
At the end of this segment, the participant will be able to name the 5 components of emotional intelligence and will be able to situate himself/herself in relation to the average person.

Segment 3: Self-awareness
By the end of this segment, participants will be able to recognize how self-awareness is the basis of emotional intelligence.

Segment 4: Self-mastery
By the end of this segment, participants will have experimented with tools and strategies for managing their emotions.

Segment 5: Motivation
At the end of this segment, the participant will have experienced the state of "flow" and will have some ideas on how to be more aligned with activities that correspond to his or her deepest motivations.
